Four Celebrations/ Dates & Themes

Dear Hazrat Inayat Khan Family and Friends,

Here is an over-view of the Celebrations being planned to commemorate the Centennial Jubilee year.

There are FOUR dates that have been chosen for us to gather and pay our respects to Hazrat Inayat Khan, over the course of the Centennial Jubilee Year. Friends and Family are invited to join together with other Orders in your area and plan to co-host these Celebrations locally. It is the hope of the Federation Council Members that these joyous Celebrations will bring all of us closer together in the Spirit of Love, Harmony and Beauty as we begin the second 100 years of the Message of Spiritual Liberty. Toward this end, a theme was chosen for each of the Four Celebrations.

The over-all theme for the Centennial Jubilee Year is: The Unity of Religious Ideals

The Dates of the Celebrations and Themes are as follows:

1) Prayers For The Planet - December 31st, 2009 - Theme: Harmony

2) URS of Hazrat Inayat Khan - February 5, 2010 - Theme: Love, Lover and Beloved

3) Birthday Celebration - July 5, 2010 - Theme: The Divinity of the Human Soul

4) Hejirat Day - September 13, 2010 - Theme: Spiritual Liberty
